Nikki Payne is not good at writing in third person. However, for this bio she is willing to try. You might remember her from Much Music’s “Video on Trial” or NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” before she ran into the wilds of New Brunswick to live with the woodland critters. After being bitten multiple times and covered in ticks she has re-emerged. Her love of comedy could not be suppressed but mostly, her bathroom needs a reno. Payne’s material is filled with piss, vinegar and bad words. Her brand new hour of comedy from her album Performative, is filled with stories she should be telling a therapist about. As the old saying goes, “tragedy plus time equals a renovated bathroom!” Mental health, growing up poor with one boob, and family gun fights are just some the topics Payne covers.
Since you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting someone’s podcast, check out “RX with Nikki and Mandy” wherever podcasts are hatched. However, there are only a few of them as Nikki realized that podcasts are a real pain in the ass to make. Ask Nikki about the novel she’s writing so she’ll feel guilty and go home to work on it.
Currently, you can find Nikki Payne at Mount Allison University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at a snails pace.
Mike was born with his head between a woman's legs, took that fact, added beer and created one of the funniest stand-up acts on both sides of the Atlantic. If you live on the eastern side of the Pond and are a fan of Rich Hall's you probably saw Mike appear with him on the BBC in Rich Hall's Cattle Drive or Rich Hall's Fishing Show or flagship stand up show Live At The Apollo. Or you might have seen him as himself on the BBC in Never Mind the Buzzcocks or 28 Acts in 28 Minutes. On the other side of the Atlantic, Mike was on Canadian TV in Corner Gas and All the Comforts and on CMT's Ron White's Salute to the Troops.
The above just scratches the surface of this funny man's comedic depth. You might ask, "What do you mean by that?" And I would answer: He's got awards. He's got awards up the whazoo: The Bare Asan or in tanding sian and come Canadim omid ard to he Mele ward Performance and he twice received the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-up
Mike has made numerous film and television appearances over the years, with a showstopping role in It's All Gone Pete Tong and a cast regular on The Fountain and Flickers.
Add to this all his other Canadian TV appearances, the thousands of times he did his stand-up on night club stages and all the festivals from Melbourne, Australia to Kilkenny, Ireland to Edinburgh, Scotland to Montreal, Canada and you have one hell of a funny man.
In 2016 Mike made his debut appearance at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenager Cancer Trust gigs and had a weeklong sold out run at London's Soho Theatre.

Her high energy comedy is a blend of observational humour, personal anecdotes, and philosophical commentary. AND, while we’re at it, let’s check that diversity box- her experiences as a member of the LGBTQ+ community naturally also shape her comedy. By embracing her identity and incorporating it into her comedy, Adrienne enjoys challenging stereotypes, while promoting inclusivity, cause it’s all love babaaay. She uses her comedy as a platform for self-expression, sharing her own journey, struggles and triumphs. Drawing on an eastern ethos of influence, her comedy also has a balance between light-hearted humour and deeper insights (can I get a namast-hay-girl-haaaaay. By striking this balance, Adrienne intends to create a comedic experience that is both entertaining and thought-provoking -encouraging audiences to think differently and embrace a broader worldview. And at the end of every set, we all take our clothes off, howl at the moon and move to a commune. It’s pretty sweet.
